In November 2004 the construction of this highest residental building in Warsaw was finished. People who live on its highest floors have a really wonderful view of Warsaw from here. It is really a pleasure to live here, but off course very expensive pleasure.
There are 342 flats in the building, they have different areas and numbers of rooms. The smallest ones have one room and are 37 square metres big, the largest ones have 6 rooms and an area of 243 square metres. On the bottom of the building, there is a three-level underground car park. Higher, on the first five floors over the ground there are offices, shops and a bank. On other 24 levels flats are located. The building has a lot of modern facilities: doors to staircases opened by magnetic cards, fast elevators, monitoring, occupiers can also use a swimming pool and fitness club, some people also have next to their flats terraces with attractive view.
The buliding's architecture seems to be too complicated. The building narrows on the top and gives an impression as it was made with a lot of boxes joined together accidentally. Also its white colour looks too boring. But on the other hand, the southern side of the building is completely straight and empty, only with a large advertisement, what dazzles much. In the future, another building is going to be joined to the southern wall.
The area, where the building is situated is really a place of contrasts. On one hand - modern, shiny skyscrapers, just like this one, on the other hand - old, ruined houses, with drunks hanging around on yards. Actually, such mixtures are very typical for Warsaw, especially for districts like Wola.
